As the head of ThinkCERCA's marketing team, I led a complete revamp of our brand guidelines to ensure the company's mission and values were understood internally and externally through consistent visuals and messaging. I worked closely with the company's Senior Marketing Designer, Director of Design, and an external copywriter to develop a brand identity and comprehensive design system that had positive implications for the marketing as well as product teams. Piece & Co.
As a freelance marketing consultant for Piece & Co., a socially conscious business connecting artisans in developing countries with US-based fashion brands, I was brought on to help with the company's branding, content marketing, and social media. When Piece & Co. landed a high-profile partnership with Nordstrom, I worked with Chicago-based Lift Collective to guide Piece & Co. through a brand refresh as well as develop a cause-marketing campaign titled, "She Makes It," to market the collaboration.
After successfully launching Impact Engine's first accelerator cohort in 2012, I spearheaded the complete revamp of Impact Engine's brand in collaboration with Chicago-based Lift Collective. The goal of the project was to change the perception of Impact Engine as a newbie accelerator to an established thought leader in the social impact investing space. In addition, we wanted to create an easy-to-manage yet scalable design system that could work across a wide variety of platforms. The brand we developed is still in use today and Impact Engine has since grown into a full-fledged venture capital and private equity firm for social impact investing with $52MM in assets under management.
